Pet Friendly Camping In Nelson

We are delighted to welcome four-legged guests between 1 Feb and 30 Nov in our Green (camping only) Zone.  Our on-site café is dog-friendly, as is the section of public beach beside Green Zone, known as Back Beach.

Below are our requirements to ensure you, your pet and other guests have a good experience staying at Tāhuna Beach Holiday Park. Be sure to let us know you have a pet staying with you.

If you are someone who lives with the support of a Disability Assist Dog, then you are welcome to bring them to stay with you. The dog must be certified as a Disability Assist Dog by an approved organisation like the Blind Foundation, Assistance Dogs NZ or Hearing Dogs for Deaf People NZ.
