Reception is open from 8am to 8pm in Spring. These hours change depending on the time of year and the season.

If you already have a booking for a campsite you can use our Kiosk to check yourself in. We will send you a text before we close with any additional information you’ll need. If you have a booking for our roofed accomodation please contact us via phone 03 548 5159 or email [email protected] and we can walk you through the late arrival options.
If you don’t have an existing booking we have a Kiosk on site which you can use to place campsite bookings after hours. You cannot place a booking for our roofed accomodation after hours. However, you can make a booking for a campsite at any time whether we are open or not using our Kiosk. All of the information you’ll need to get into the camp and locate your site will be given to you on the Kiosk.
To find the Kiosk simply walk up the ramp towards Reception and you will see it at the top of the ramp.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and New Zealand cash. Payment by credit card or payWave incurs a fee.
It depends on the time of year and how busy we are. We cannot guarantee that your accomodation will be available for an early check-in or late check-out. It would be best to speak directly with the Customer Services team to see if we can accomodate your request.
Over our peak period 20 Dec – 10 January we will not be able to accommodate any early check-ins or late check-outs.
When you book a unit or campsite you have full access to our communal facilities: showers, toilets, kitchens, baby change room, sky lounge, BBQs, dump stations and accessible toilets. These are all free to use except the washing machines and dryers.

Yes, the washing machines and dryers are token operated. The tokens can be purchased from Reception for $4 each. One token does either a wash or a dry and a each cycle takes approximately 35 to 45 minutes.
We also have multiple washing lines throughout the camp if you would prefer to hang dry your clothes.
Guests supply their own laundry powder. Alternatively, it can be purchased from Reception for $2 (enough for two loads).
No, we don’t. Guests need to provide their own cooking and eating utensils. In our facilities blocks you’ll find ovens, hot plates, a microwave, toasters and a communal fridge/freezer.
Yes, we require a deposit to confirm your booking within 2 weeks of placing the booking. The deposit is the first night’s tariff per unit/site. The deposit can be paid through providing the Customer Services team with your card details, through direct credit or through our website.
The balance of reservation (after deposit) is payable on or before arrival for the full term booked.

Guests get 1GB free per 24 hours per device when they book with us. You can purchase unlimited Wi-Fi in Reception or on your device for $2 for 24 hours, $10 for a week, $35 for a month for up to three devices.
If you are being disturbed by your neighbours, please contact reception (03 548 5159) immediately during opening hours, or Night Security (03 545 7855) so the situation can be addressed.
Yes, we are pet-friendly from 1 February – 30 November in the Green camping zone of the Park by prior arrangement. A No-Pets policy is enforced between 1 December and 31 January due to the number of guests on sites.
No pets are allowed in units at any time of the year, except for approved service animals. If a pet is identified in a unit the guest responsible will be required to remove the pet immediately and pay an allergy cleaning fee of $150.00. Failure to remove the pet will result in eviction of guest responsible without a refund.
Visitors of TBHP guests are not permitted to bring pets on site (including in vehicles) at any time during the year.
We only offer semi-permanent caravan sites from the 1st of February to the 31st of October (Wintering Over). We do not offer any long-term accommodation in our Motels or Cabins. Contact us directly for more information on Wintering Over.
Yes, the Holiday Park is a great place to bring kids. We have plenty of things to do across the Park including multiple playgrounds with a mega-swing, double flying fox, bouncy pillow and a sandpit playground. We also have a mini golf course ($6 per player) and pedal karts for hire.
Not only do we have plenty to do in the Park but we are walking distance to other exciting activities such as Natureland, ProKarts and the Fun Park.
Yes, we can store your luggage for you. Talk to one of the Customer Services team and they can organise it for you.
No, we do not. However, our Green Zone backs right onto the beach.
We have a lovely Café on site next door to Reception. From here you can purchase food and basic supplies such as milk, bread, pegs, etc.
The closest supermarket to the Holiday Park would be New World in Nelson or Countdown and New World in Stoke, which are both about 4.5km away.
No, all of our roofed accommodation has linen and towels supplied.
Yes, all items that are brought into Reception or items that our staff have found are logged and kept in lost property in Reception. If you have lost something, please contact our Customer Services team and we will try and locate your item and get it back to you. We can keep it in Reception for you to come and collect or post it to you. However, you must pay for the postage.
The lost property is kept in Reception for 3 months before it is disposed of.
Yes, there is allocated parking spots for all of our roofed accommodation. Any vehicles can be parked on campsites within site boundaries.
Yes, you can hire a RCD cord from Reception. We require a $40.00 bond which is refunded on its return.
Most of our sites have a tap but not all of them. If you would like to book a site with a tap please select ‘Water Tap – sites only’ when booking online or tell one of our Customer Services team when booking and they will select one for you.
The water from all of the taps in the Holiday Park is safe to drink.
Our Holiday Park is within 3km of a Medical Centre and 6km (10mins) from Nelson Hospital with Emergency Admissions.
