Classic Accessible Motel (Sleeps 4)

The easy access two-bedroom motel unit is specifically designed to accommodate people less mobile or wheelchair bound, each unit contains:

• Fully accessible bathroom with shower / toilet
• Fully accessible kitchen, lowered benches, fridge/freezer, microwave, benchtop oven, dual hobs, electric frypan, cooking utensils, dinnerware and cutlery.
• Microwave, fridge and sink are accessible from a wheelchair
• Dining facilities –  dining table suitable for wheelchair access
• Complimentary coffee and tea making facilities
• Queen bed in one bedroom, and two single beds in the other – The bed heights are all 65cm
• Electric blankets on beds March – November
• Lounge with one sofa and two chairs
• Internet-based Smart TV
• Heat pump for heating and cooling
• Washing machine and dryer
• Ironing board and iron
• Serviced daily, with full service on 4th day
• Step-free access into and throughout the unit
• Service dog accepted (must have certification papers – BYO bed and bowls)
• All doorways are 80cm or wider
• Undercover carparking at the door
• The floor coverings are lino or wheelchair-tread carpet

• Fixed grab bars
• Shower chair on request
• Step-free and lip-free shower
• Pull cord lighting
• A wheelchair can fit under the vanity sink

• A Reception bay that is wheelchair friendly
• Step-free access to the on-site café, store and communal toilets
• A beach wheelchair suitable for easy sand mobility (on-site but belongs to CCS Mobility and must be booked in advance; bond required but no charge for use)
