Special Request?

While we’re aware of the most frequently requested requirements, we appreciate that the term ‘accessible’ can be an assumption. Every individual’s ability (disability) is unique, so we’re detailing as much as possible, so that our visitors are in a position to identify whether we offer suitable accommodation based on their abilities.

We strive to accommodate any requests that are within our power to meet.

This might include changing the furniture layout in your unit, providing or removing certain items, accommodating specific equipment or support animals, supplying assistance on arrival to set up … just let us know – preferably in advance of your arrival.

Our team is skilled in meeting our guest’s requirements, but we are always learning; please don’t hesitate to ask anything or give us feedback.

Sensory Information

The Holiday Park is adjacent to Nelson Airport, geographically located out from one end of the runway. This means throughout the day we have regular (but not frequent) aeroplanes flying overhead before landing and after taking off. While there are no jets or large planes, some of the propeller planes are noisy for a brief time which may be uncomfortable for people with heightened noise sensitivity.
