Our Summer Holiday Programme
During our really busy season (from around 20 Dec to the end of January) we run a summer events programme.
All the events – from creative workshops, live music, yoga, Housie and quiz nights, silent discos and scavenger hunts to sandcastle and volleyball competitions, children’s entertainers, bug hunts, outdoor movies and tractor trailer rides about the Park – are free for our guests to take part in – we just want you to have fun!

It’s bigger and better than ever with a new route!
Summer Beach Bus
The Summer Beach Bus is operating daily from 10am to 4.30pm, between Saturday 27 December 2025 up to and including Sunday 18 January 2026.
Pick-up and drop-off points: Tāhuna Beach Holiday Park, Classic Car Museum (new stop!), Tāhunanui Beach & Nelson City.
The bus leaves Tāhuna Beach Holiday Park on the hour (except 1pm), Classic Car Museum 10 mins past the hour, Nelson CBD on the half hour and Tāhunanui Beach at Bisley Walk 45mins past the hour.
Tickets: Adult $6 / $10 return, Child $3 / $5 return. Children under 3yrs ride free. Family tickets also available. Tickets are available from Reception (cash or card) as well as on the bus (cash only).

Daily Tractor Trailer Rides
Hop aboard our vintage tractor-trailer for a fun and scenic ride through the Holiday Park! Enjoy the thrill, soak up the beautiful views, and experience a charming slice of holiday nostalgia. The ride lasts approximately 20 minutes. Departs opposite The Deck Café/Reception. For a daily schedule check out the calendar above or download our mobile App!

Inflatable Waterslide 'The Big Splash'
The Inflatable Waterslide Is Back!
Get ready to splash, slide, and laugh your way through summer — our inflatable waterslide is back in action! Find it near the Amphitheatre in the Blue Zone, operating 11am–7pm daily from Sat 27 Dec 2025 to Wed 14 Jan 2026.
It’s the ultimate cool-down activity at the Holiday Park. Come slip, slide, and make some unforgettable summer memories!
Frozen treats and snacks that taste GOOD and are HEALTHY too! 🩷
Pop Cycle
Look out for Alley and her Pop Cycle cruising through the Green and Blue Zones on early summer evenings!
She’ll be serving up delicious ice blocks, POPsicles, POPcorn, and frozen fruits like blueberries, raspberries, and mango chunks — all from her chiller on wheels.
