In March 2025, our motel units have been awarded a 4+ star rating by Qualmark, New Zealand tourism’s official quality assurance organisation! This is a significant step up from our previous 4-star status and a proud recognition of the ongoing investment we’ve made over the past year to enhance our guest experience.

The upgrade comes after a focused refurbishment programme across our 32 self-contained units, bringing a fresh, contemporary feel and improved comfort throughout. Here are just some of the enhancements we’ve rolled out:

• Upgraded kitchen and lounge equipment, including new microwaves and TVs.
• Enhanced climate control for better heating and cooling, ensuring year-round comfort.

• Expanded recycling options to support sustainable travel choices.
• And a special highlight: $100,000 invested in fully refurbishing our two accessible units, ensuring inclusivity and top-tier comfort for all guests.
