Nelsons museum is located in the heart of Nelson and features our Regional History Gallery downstairs and temporary exhibitions upstairs that focus on local, topical and cultural themes. Bring the whole family and take the time to walk through the treasure-filled exhibitions that explore our regions fascinating history and identity.

Open 10am – 5pm Weekdays, 10am – 4.30pm Weekends and Public Holidays. Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday.
