Over the course of each year, tens of thousands of people stay with us and a large percentage give us feedback. We very much value the helpful suggestions, observations or sometimes negative feedback because that keeps us on track to being the best we possibly can be. However, not going to lie, the good comments made by the vast majority just make us feel good!
We’re proud to share some of these positive comments on this page each month, endorsing our great location, facilities and services. We all love this place and it’s great that so many of our guests do too.
Great staff, being right next to the beach, clean facilities. Dog friendly. We enjoyed the relaxed environment, not far from camp facilities, enjoyable walking in the vicinity, husband enjoyed biking track close by, dog friendly, great we’ll be back.

Very clean modern facilities and friendly staff in a fabulous locatioon. As we were there to attend the weetbix triathlon, the location was perfect and the okay by the staff that we didn’t need to be out by 10 made our stay very relaxing. Couldn’t fault facilities, cleanliness or the customer service staff we dealt with on the phone and in person.

Very friendly reception staff. I felt safe and it didn’t feel crowded. Firstly the reception staff were so friendly. That really makes such a huge difference and I thank you so much for this. I loved not having neighbours during my stay and being a little removed from the hussle and bussel. I loved the dog beach and I had a really beautiful big tree nearby my site and the site was large. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean and lovely warm showers with no timer! Thank you!,

Our most memorable experience was the cleanliness and the setup. We have a dog so just to walk to the beach and walk him was absolutely wonderful. Also the scenery around us was great as was the friendly staff on arrival. First time there and we highly recommend to friends. We enjoyed the well run organised camp ground. Love the airport as spotting planes great. Whilst there we had the airforce display. Bonus ….the washing clothes machine an clothes line all within a few metres.

Wonderful facilities. Your staff were friendly and welcoming. My husband is disabled and we really appreciated your easy access disabled bathroom. Also great not to have to pay for timed showers thank you.

The peacefulness in the holiday park, its closeness to the boardwalk,to the city and also to outer lying areas like Mapua. With our wheelchair family member, the spaciousness of our accommodation, the roll in shower and the washing machine and clothes drier. It is not always easy to find suitable hotel accommodation for wheelchair users when travelling, and your facility is very well set up for this, which makes our holidays more enjoyable.

I was extremely impressed with the staff who helped with my booking, check in and a booking I for a future visit. The location of our site was just perfect and to be able to extend our check out whilst my son participated in the Weetbix TRY was an added bonus. We will definitely be staying again, thank you.
